Hurst Corp. has introduced innovative proprietary and patented designs for pharmaceutical packaging and storage systems that it manufactures, including label removing from glass, plastic and aluminum bottles; automatic tray loading and unloading of bottles, vials and syringes; stainless steel vial trays, racks and carts; plastic, Fiberglas and injection-molded vial storage trays; and tablet powdering devices.
Among Hurst's newest products is the flexible lugged conveyor belt, which is designed to transport vials in linear and rotary pathways, eliminating transitions between in-line conveyors and index wheels. Operating vertically, the new conveyors belts feature patterned lugs, which pocket vials during transport. HURST lugged belt conveyors are available in a wide variety of belt sizes and PVC compound lug configurations.
