Krohne Inc. is a global leader in design, development and manufacturing of innovative and reliable process instrumentation, including magmeters, flow controllers, batching controllers, batching systems, temperature and pressure gauges, and a complete range of flow meters, including electromagnetic, ultrasonic, vortex, variable area and Coriolis devices.

Krohne systems are widely used in pharmaceutical manufacturing. For example, eight Krohne H 250 variable-area flow meters serve as part of a system to purify and neutralize explosive gas in the hazardous area of one plant. Another manufacturer uses OPTIMASS Titan DN 10 meters for a sterile water batching application. A third company uses Krohne flow switches to check the flow rate of cooling water feeding through condensers at its manufacturing plant.
