Thermometric Inc. focuses on thermal measuring techniques, with emphasis on isothermal microcalorimeters. Thermometric's thermal activity monitor (TAM) product line includes a range of highly sensitive calorimeters for research, development and production control. TAM systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing can measure stability, compatibility, amorphicity and poymorphism. TAM systems for life sciences are used in gauging metabolic activity, cellular interactions, molecular interactions and ligand binding.

TAM III is a multichannel microcalorimetric system used to investigate stability, compatibility, binding and many other characteristics of compounds. Stability data can be obtained within hours. In addition, TAM III allows compatibility screening at ambient temperatures and humidities without the need to dissolve or alter the sample before analysis. TAM III also can detect amorphous amounts of less that 1%.
