CiDRA Corp. combines industrial and optical skills to deliver real-time process monitoring. CiDRA's proprietary technology is deployed in its SONARtrac flow meters. The SONARtrac clamp-on process monitoring systems can be installed on existing process lines to allow real-time, on-line measurement of single-phase and multiphase flows. The monitors use patented array-processing techniques to listen to and interpret pressure fields generated by pipe flows. The SONARtrac volumetric flow and entrained gas monitoring system allows on-line real-time measurement of the volumetric flow and amount of entrained air or gas present in any liquid-continuous-phase process fluid, as well as a measurement of the liquid portion of the flow. Other SONARtrac products include the gas volume fraction monitoring system, the gas holdup meter, active SONAR meter, gas fraction meter and total air monitor.
