Online Analysis of Tablets Including Content Uniformity

by Bruker Optics Inc.

The US Food and Drug Administration's (FDA's) Process Analytical Technology (PAT) initiative requires pharmaceutical manufacturers to improve their critical quality performance monitoring for ensuring final product quality. Many applications in the PAT initiative can be addressed using near infrared (NIR) spectroscopy. For example, NIR spectroscopy can be used at almost each step of tablet manufacture from raw material control to content uniformity analysis of the dosage unit. In this white paper, Bruker Optics shows how its products are specifically designed to the requirements of the pharmaceutical industry.
