Clean in place for IBC filling and discharge stations

by Material Control Solutions Inc. (MATCON)

Matcon provides a range of Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems for their IBC Filling Stations (CTS) and Discharge Stations. These Clean-In-Place systems use water, detergent and treated water wash cycles. All product contact surfaces are cleaned and dried to a pharmaceutical standard ready for the next batch campaign. This should not be confused with Wet-In- Place (WIP) where surfaces are dampened for dust containment and subsequently dismantled for Clean-Off-Place (COP). The systems can be semi or fully automatic with services either fixed or via a Mobile Skid. Cleaning is repeatable and validatable to FDA regulated industry standards.
