EPC information service

This white paper by Auto-ID Laboratories describes the electronic product code information service (EPCIS), a standard interface for access and storage of EPC-related data that handles very specific, simple queries efficiently and returns relevant data. This white paper examines the main categories of data that can be accessed via an EPCIS, then proposes three categories of simple query that can allow more complex queries to be broken down into tractable simple queries that an EPCIS can answer.
