by Applied Biosystems
In this application note, Applied Biosystems describes its newly developed techniques that produce the highest-quality total RNA from whole blood or isolated blood cells from various animal species and a variety of anticoagulants, including heparin which allows to isolate highly pure, highly stable total RNA directly from whole blood, without sample pre-treatments such as proteinase K digestion or red blood.
