Conditions Right for Life Sciences Industry to Pursue Innovative Automation Solutions

Traditionally, manufacturers in the life sciences industry have been more cautious than those in other industries about upgrading their automation systems. Two primary reasons for this reluctance have been concerns about the cost of “revalidating” and a prevalent attitude of “if it’s not broken, don’t fix it.” This approach may have worked 15 years ago, but today conditions are encouraging pharmaceutical manufacturers to upgrade their systems and reap the benefits.
